" When we decided to finish our basement in Oakville, we wanted it done properly. We wanted all the proper permits, the work engineered, and everything built to the drawings. Andreh and Maha Design Studio made it happen.

Andreh produced a complete, clearly detailed set of architectural drawings, and the quality showed at every stage. The permit went through smoothly, and once construction started, the drawings answered most questions before they came up. Where clarification was needed, his responses were prompt, clear, and grounded in the code, explained in plain language so we could make informed decisions as homeowners. He also recommended the other engineers who completed the full mechanical and HVAC spec documents.

Working with him was also a lot of fun. At one point I complained that the two smaller bedrooms in the first layout felt like T-rex arms, tiny and tucked against the body of the plan. Instead of brushing it off, Andreh laughed and then reworked the drawing in a way we didn't expect: he kept the supporting wall intact, enlarged the windows, and found us bigger bedrooms without compromising the structure or building code. His mix of good humour and real design skill is rare.

As first-time renovators managing a permitted project, the care he put into the details gave us real confidence. We would happily recommend Andreh and Maha Design Studio to anyone taking on a residential design project. He is professional, creative, and thorough.
